The facility was developed as the City’s first AFD-APD co-location that includes a full-sized neighborhood Fire Station, a Traffic Division Police Substation, and a Community Conference/Training Center. The program consists of five basic functional/operational zones including, apparatus, utility, sleeping, living, and administration that are organized about a linear artery of circulation punctuated by destinations of interaction and “multi-use.” Shared amenities, include a fitness center, MEP-T infrastructure areas, and a large community/briefing room accessible from the main lobby.
